ADVISE

"You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months. Over analyzing a situation, trying to put the pieces back together, justifying what could of, would of happened.. Or you can leave the pieces on the floor & move ON. LIFE ITS ONLY ONE AND YOU SHOULD ENJOY 100%. that's my advice

motivation

i think people have different ambition. Some people say that they just want to work and be somebody in life because they think that owned to their parents. other just want to be better than their friends and family.In other words competition is their motivation. But i believe that the reason most of the people work hard for, is because it feels good when you get something that causes you a lot of sacrifices to obtain. At least thats what motivate me.the feeling that you get after accomplishing something that was a really a hard task is what push you to give the best of you and try to surpass your own limits.

one of my favorite rappers once said"Fake is the new real"..Well he couldn't of worded it better, cause most of the people talking about how real they are turn out to be the fake or try to be some one they are not. those people for me don't mean anything . i believe that people should be proud of who they are and also know that every one is born with a special gift that if it is use well and made the best out of it it could turn your life upside down for the better.

Well> here is something else I wrote myself. It goes like this. I don't wish to be the question that you already answered. I would like to be the answer to what you haven't asked. Well. you see I wrote this in Spanish it makes sense in my language but you know we always have to think about the upside down man we read in class. Anyways it basically means that “you don't want to be a typical man or do the exactly same things other people do but to be someone new to her, better and different.

well what i wrote was something that my cousin Richy and me wrote in Spanish. i don't really know if it makes sense or not but it was something created by us so i just thought it would be good to write in here.

having fun with family

today i laugh so much that my stomach started to hurt. i came from school did my homework and then my cousins Richy, Jose and me started to play monopoly. after we were playing for about an hour my two sister said they wanted to join us. that's when the game got interesting, we were buying each other property and the game lasted 4 hours. unfortunately i didn't win the game but i felt like a winner because we had a great time together and that's what is its all about, having fun.

getting ready

many people like me like to wait for the last minute to do thing and even though its not so bad when you wait a long time and then do what you have to do, it is better to start as soon as you get the chance. what i am trying to say its that many of us do not go to the writing center or writing workshop even when it is something that would only help us and it is accessible and good resource of learning for Linc students. We need to stand up for ourselves because nobody else will do it for us. we should take all the advantages that all students at Nassau have. In other words, the day of the admission test is coming so we should start to do something better than what we did last time.

today

today i had a great day. first i laughed a lot in the panel then i went home a sleep for aver 8 hours. i just wake up. i feel so much better now because i finally rest and sleep good. Also i am happy and excite because my mother is coming this Sunday and she promised that she will bring me my favorite food from the Dominican Republic which is "boruga" i dint know the name of it in English but i do know that it is Delicious.

a couple of months ago, I had an accident. It almost turned my life upside down.It happened quickly, but I still remember clearly what happened. I just forgot to turn off the stove.
When I got into my house. I saw the smoke all around. I ran quickly to the stove to turn it of. That scared me to death. If I had come a bit late to my house, well lest just say we wouldn't even called a house no more.See, what happen was that the alarm didn't work, so I woke up late. It was about time for me to go to class. I had to do everything as quickly as possible, so that I wouldn't be late for the class. I didn't have enough time to do the things that I usually do. one of those things included turning off the stove after i made breakfast. i still cant believe that it could have blown up.

A Good Day With My Cousin

Today i was chilling with my cousin Richy, we was at home laughing about the stupid jokes that i was telling him. Even though, we are going through a hard situation right now, this little time with him, made my day. My cousin is often funny, but today i was the funny one, i couldn't believe how hard i had him laughing. He has been my favorite cousin since we were little kids, i remember us playing with sticks, and fake toys we made back in Dominican Republic. It is always good to have a flashback of your childhood.

activities for the day.

today my mother flew to the Dominican Republic to go to a funeral of one of her friends. i took her to the JFK at 10:00am. then i came back home, have some breakfast and headed to NCC. since it was already too late for me to go the class, i just stayed at the writing center waiting for the time of my appointment. The teacher that assisted me gave me a great news i motivated me to want to story harder then ever.After that i want home i wrote the next easy i would bring tomorrow to the writing center with hope that somebody dropped their appointment and leave an opening for me. well that's all for today.

fun at ncc

jejeje.. Well! Well!! Today was a better day then what i thought. When Elaine told us that we needed to walk to the ccb, I thought it was going to be really boring. Well, let me explain myself. I wasn't in the mood to do anything today and when we got there the line was huge. There were more than 50 people in front of me. Then I start thinking that it was already 12:00 pm I wasn't inside yet. I thought it was going to take a long time to do my homework. However, I am happy to say that I actually had fun. Everything was great; the girls perform wonderfully and one of the guys sang one of my favorite songs. Anyways it was good experience to be surrounded by all the different culture and ethnic group of people that were there.

what is love?

what is love? i think it is the most difficult question for mankind to answer. To some Love is "a   friendship set on fire". for others"Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness",  or that It rejoices over the evil and is the truth seeker. But to me love is suffering. so to avoid suffering we must no love. But then we will be suffering from not loving. in conclusion, to love is to suffer. to suffer is to suffer. to be happy is to love. then to be happy is to suffer.But suffering makes us unhappy. so to be unhappy is to love, or love to suffer, or suffering from happiness.it just to complicate for me to answer it my self so i would like for everyone to add something to it.....oh and one more thin i also believe that love is the eternal truth in the history of mankind and it is like a war it begin easy but is really hard to end it.

funny thing

today me and a bunch of friend decide we were going to have fun, so we headed to a nightclub named area 516. we we got there i i gave my friend an id that said that was over 21. however he didn't remember the date of birth in the id, so when the security ask him for his date of birth he said a wrong one and they didn't let him in. therefore we all just return back home. not this really didn't happen but i least i am writing something ,jejejeejej JK.^_^
